Where roots
connect below
the surface

R2B Circle is a small international community in Seoul — for coffee, conversation, books, and and figuring it out. A place where curious people meet, grow, and sometimes find their next step.

"Go deeper. That's where the real catch is."

People are like trees.
We grow stronger
when roots connect.

Metasequoia trees — tall, enduring, ancient — thrive not alone but as a forest. Their roots intertwine underground, sharing nutrients and stability across the whole grove.

R2B International Community was built on this same idea. People come and go. But the connections stay. A passing traveler, a visiting researcher, a friend you met over coffee — these roots remain long after you leave Seoul.

"In disorder, we rediscover what matters.
That's where real growth begins."

"Our bodies carry a DNA code. The algorithms of all creation move with us through the astonishing laws of nature. When illness strikes, or when we face disorder and chaos in the midst of disaster — we begin to rediscover the health, order, and happiness we once took for granted."

Language &
Coffee Exchange
Korean and English, rotating between Korea University and Jamsil. Start with introductions. Move naturally to real life stories. No formal curriculum — just honest conversation.
Korean English Evening Open

A small circle for coffee, ideas, and real talk.

Unlike most language exchange meetups that stay on the surface, R2B Circle is designed to go somewhere — gently, naturally, over time.

We start light. Introductions. Coffee. Where are you from? Then, if the moment feels right, we go deeper. What are you building? What are you searching for? Why are you in Seoul?

No pressure. No agenda. Just curious people in a room, letting the conversation find its own direction.

20 min
Activity & Coffee Book share, culture talk, or just arriving together. BTS, K-drama, travel stories — anything goes.
30 min
R2B Circle Intro 3 sentences: your name, why you're in Korea, what you're curious about right now.
30 min
Conversation Unstructured but focused. Usually we ask: "What do you want to learn or build in your life?"
10 min
Connection Exchange contacts. Plan the next meetup. Sometimes a project or friendship starts here.
How We Introduce Ourselves
1

Name & where
you're from

Simple. We come from everywhere — India, Spain, Nigeria, Japan, the US. Each name carries a whole world with it.

"Hi, I'm Priya from Mumbai. I'm a postdoc researcher at Korea University."
2

Why you're
in Korea

Research, language, work, love, curiosity — every reason is interesting. This is where the real story starts.

"I came for a one-year fellowship, and somehow I've been here three years."
3

What you're
curious about

Not your job title. Not your credentials. What actually lights up your mind these days? AI, art, food, startups, faith?

"I've been obsessed with humanoid robots and what they mean for healthcare."

Then we
just talk

No moderator. No slides. Coffee in hand, we follow the curiosity wherever it leads. This is the R2B Circle.

"What do you want to learn or build in your life?"
